"Way too many missing trails!!"
I tried using mapy.com for a few hikes and some cycling routes, and honestly... it was frustrating!! A bunch of local trails were either missing completely or just plain wrong. Some paths it shows don’t even exist anymore?? And a few trails I know really well weren’t on there at all. It’s fine for a quick look maybe, but if you actually need accurate trail details... I wouldn’t trust it!!!

"Never got me lost"
The routes have been really solid for me. Even on random back roads, like really random back roads, it still keeps me going the right way.

"I mean... the routes just don’t make..."
I mean... the routes just don’t make much sense. It keeps sending me in ways that feel longer or more complicated than they need to be, so yeah... not a great experience.

"Offline maps help, though I’m not totally sure they’re always accurate"
I mostly use Mapy when I’m traveling, and the offline maps have definitely come in handy a few times when my signal was weak or gone. Downloading the maps is simple, and for walking routes, it usually works well enough from what I’ve seen.

That said, it can feel a little slow when I’m using it offline, and the search sometimes won’t find a place unless I type the name just right. I also noticed a few smaller paths seemed missing or maybe outdated, though I can’t say for sure in every case. It’s still useful, but I wouldn’t rely on it completely without double-checking if I could

"Search and Places still need fixing"
I’m getting tired of running into the same problems with search and Places. The place details are often wrong, and searching for something feels way messier than it should. It’s frustrating because I keep hoping it’ll improve, but it’s still the same issue again.

"I used Mapy on a hike recently..."
I used Mapy on a hike recently, the GPS was the only thing I could focus on after a while. The maps themselves looked good, and I liked that part, but my location kept jumping around all over the place. A few times it showed me off the trail even though I was literally standing still. I’d hit the recenter button and it would fix things for maybe 10 seconds, then start drifting again. When you’re trying to follow a route, that gets annoying fast. I’m not too picky about every little feature, but I really need the GPS to be reliable, and for me it just wasn’t.

"Super easy map app, and I blame my friend for getting me hooked"
I’ve been using mapy.com for walks and little trips for a while now, mostly because my friend kept telling me to try it, so I blame him for making me switch. But he was right, it opens quickly, and I can find places without tapping through a bunch of menus.
The routes are really clear, and I like that the map doesn’t feel cluttered or overwhelming. I’ve used the offline maps a few times when the signal was terrible, and they actually worked without giving me any stress.

It’s simple, useful, and does exactly what I need it to do. I didn’t expect to like it this much, but it’s easily one of the better map apps I’ve tried.

"Maps are mostly right, but the reminders are a lot"
Overall, the maps are mostly accurate and I’ve been able to get around fine with them. A few roads were wrong or outdated though, which was annoying when I was trying to follow directions. Also, the reminders feel way too aggressive sometimes — like, I get it, you don’t need to keep bugging me constantly
